Sant Antoni and the Devil Celebration at School

While the batucada of the school are playing, pupils of Ceip Pintor Joan Miró are burning the devils made of paper, balloons and clothes. Children are dancing and screaming. Teachers are watching out. 

5th Grade Pupils say:

They are playing music (Alba G.). They are jumping (María R.). They are playing in the playground (Nerea). Children are listening to batucada. (Josué). Thay are eating meat (El hadji). Sant Antoni and the Devil are fughting (Rocío). Children are dancing around the fire (Britany). Sant Antoni and the devil are coming into the classrooms. (Saray). They are barbacuing (Mily). Children are singing songs (Joana). Families are cooking meat (Christina). Thay are celebrating Sant Antoni (Elisabeth). Musicians are playing drums (Helen). Families are dancing (María I.). Children are having fun (Kolade). Children are making masks (Bryan). They are playing hide and seek (Alba).  Children are dancing around the fire (Claudia).   

6th Grade pupils say:

Children are dancing around the fire.

We are playing music.

We are burning devils.

I am the devil and I am scarying the little children.

Children are listening to music. 

We are playing druns and tamborine.

We are dancing in the playground.

I am Sant Antoni and I am walking along the corridor.

The devil is dancing in the classroom.

We are eating sausages, botifarrons, meat and toasted bread.
